Insurance or Payment related FAQs

We accept all PPO, indemnity insurances. We also accept all major HMO insurances. Please click here to see the list of insurances we accept. Please always make sure with our staff when you call to make an appointment. It is very difficult to answer this question, because charges for any procedure depends on the type of procedure, insurance you have (not just the carrier, but also plan type etc). Best thing would be to make an appoitment, visit our office, meet the doctor and then our Treatment coordinator would explain you the complete details of the treatment and your portion and insurance portion etc. Most cases Yes. If you are getting a Deep Cleaning done (Scaling and Root Planing), the charge which insurance representative quoted must be same. However for the procedures like crowns, it all depends on the type of crown you are getting done etc. This fee varies between office to office. If you want to get a Gold crown done, insurance asks the dental office to add the gold upgrade and it doesnt give us any set charge for that. However, we have to calculate the actual upgrade charge based on our office policies. Same with Lab charges too. Please keep in mind that we never want to overcharge the patient and we make every effort to make the treatment effortable to the patient. ** Procedures mentioned in this answer are examples only. Absolutely. If you have reasonable credit history*, you can easily sign up for easy equal monthly installments through Care Credit or Chase Health Plan. We will help you through entire paper work and process related to it. According to insurance rules, you are supposed to visit the Dental office where you are assigned. However, Its just a simple call to get assigned to our office. You can directly call your insurance carrier and get yourself assigned to our office. Or make an appointment and at the time of your visit our front staff will help you get assigned. Please always make sure with our office if we are a provider of your insurance carrier before you make an appoitment.

Regular/Standard Braces (Orthodontics) related FAQs

Phase I, or early interceptive treatment, is limited orthodontic treatment before all of the permanent teeth have erupted. This treatment is sometimes recommended to make more space for developing teeth, correction of cross-bites, overbites, under-bites, or harmful oral habits. Phase II treatment is also called comprehensive treatment, because it involves full braces when all of the permanent teeth have erupted, usually between the ages of eleven and thirteen. Braces use steady gentle pressure to gradually move teeth into their proper positions. The brackets that are placed on your teeth and the arch wire that connects them are the main components. When the arch wire is placed into the brackets, it applies pressure to move your teeth to their new, more ideal positions. Treatment times may vary, on the average, treatment can take from eighteen to twenty-four months. Treatment length is also dependent upon patient compliance. Maintaining good oral hygiene and keeping regular appointments are important in keeping your treatment schedule. The placement of bands and brackets on your teeth does not hurt. Once your braces are placed and connected with the archwires you may feel some soreness of your teeth for one to four days. Your lips and cheeks may need one to two weeks to get used to the braces on your teeth. No. It is recommended, however, that patients protect their smiles by wearing a mouth guard when participating in any sporting activity. Mouth guards are inexpensive, comfortable, and come in a variety of colors and patterns.
